Friends of the National Zoo is seeking a Temporary Database Specialist to perform data entry to update membership and donor records in the Raisers Edge (RE) database, download & process on-line transactions through NetSolutions, and write Microsoft Access reports & exports to Excel and Word. Also provides IT and software support for database problem resolution.
Position requires 2 years Blackbaud’s Raisers Edge database administration and Microsoft Office Access Customer reporting creation experience within a nonprofit organization, high level of proficiency in Access and Excel, proficient command of Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, familiarity with current non-profit fundraising practices and accounting principles, and the ability to identify priorities, work independently, meet deadlines and solve computer software problems. College or Technical education and preferred.
