Responsibilities: This is an entry-level technical support and customer service position assisting in the operation and maintenance of computers and other IT-related tasks at the Saint Louis Zoo. Provide support to user requests for assistance with computers. Answer help desk calls. Assist with configuration of new computers, printers and various hardware. Provide technical maintenance for hardware and software. Troubleshoot system problems and assist individual users regarding system and/or software problems.
Qualifications: High School diploma required. Candidate must have basic knowledge of computer and network skills. Must have the manual dexterity necessary to install and operate computer hardware and the appropriate physical strength to move and set up computer workstations. Must be dependable, resourceful, have good oral and written communications skills. Must pay attention to detail, have good time-management skills, and the ability to work with some independence and initiative. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with hours varying from 30 - 35 per week.Weekends are required. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test. COVID vaccinations are required for this position.
