Special Events and Marketing Assistant

Special Events and Marketing Assistant– (Full-Time)               

Responsibilities:Support position for the Special Events department, which is involved with planning and producing fundraising, public and donor recognition events. Job duties would include, but are not limited to, data entry, preparing meeting agendas, minutes and reports, managing calendars and reservations, schedule and coordinate meetings, vendors and volunteers, maintain office supplies for department, limited event support and other clerical and administrative functions as assigned. Also provide limited support to the Director of Marketing with billing, data collection, data analysis and limited project management. Reports directly to the Director of Special Events.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.Strong administrative, verbal, written, math and organizational skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly EXCEL. Must be positive, energetic, and capable of working under pressure and possess ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks and work independently as well as thrive in a team environment. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for 50 yards, stand and walk for extended periods of time and be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test. COVID vaccinations are required for this position.
