As a legal assistant, you will receive challenging projects and handle responsibilities to include:
Administrative:

Collaborate with attorney/paralegal team in producing top quality work product.

Read, date, and file all incoming mail.

Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external clients on all levels.

Handle communications when attorney is out of the office, to include assisting clients and taking detailed messages.

Maintain client records in accordance with Sandberg Phoenix file structures.
-
Manage a calendar/docketing system in accordance with the Sandberg Phoenix Docket System.

Coordinate travel arrangements.
-
Handle processing of business and vendor expenses with accounting department.
Corporate:

Assist in preparation of matters for corporate board meetings, mediations, real estate closings, and banking documentation.

Communications with clients in scheduling meetings and appointments.
Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities should include:
-
Have a demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including extensive knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, redline programs/document-compare programs and various document management systems.

Proven ability to problem-solve, think independently and undertake projects with minimum supervision in a timely and efficient manner.

Ability to read and write in order to proofread and perform editing (e.g., punctuation, grammar and spelling skills) of routine law office correspondence and legal documents.

Ability to transcribe legal documents, correspondence and reports at a minimum level of 60 wpm.

Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to communicate both with internal and external clients.

Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Ability to work with other Sandberg Phoenix members in a positive, team oriented environment to best serve our clients.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum of 2 years of current legal experience in corporate transactional areas.
EDUCATION:
-
Minimum of Associate’s Degree
