POSITION AVAILABLE: Visitor and Member Services Representative (Limited Part-Time) (December, 2017 through March, 2018)
REPORTS TO: Visitor and Member Services Managers
MINUMUM OF RANGE: $10.73 / hour
SUPERVISES: No one
SPECIFICATIONS: High School diploma, customer service, and database experience preferred. Job requires excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of data entry and word processing is essential, familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor database preferred. Must possess demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and carry out activities independently to meet specific timelines and goals. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are required, including but not limited to: strong written and oral communications skills, top-notch organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Must adapt to frequent changes of routine and pace due to unpredictable customer demands without loss of efficiency or composure.
JOB PURPOSE: To deliver excellent member and donor service both in person and over the phone, including promoting membership sales, fielding inquiries and payments, timely gift processing and acknowledgement, and maintenance of accurate donor files, while respecting the confidential nature of donor records.
