Saint Louis Art Museum is seeking energetic candidates who wish to donate their time and talent to serve as a volunteer in the Museum Shop.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Retail Sales Volunteer
REPORTS TO: Retail Sales Manager, Museum Shop
SPECIFICATIONS: A bright, motivated and outgoing individual with good communication skills, and the ability to work with the public. Minimum commitment of one 3-hour shift per weekend required. Retail experience preferred. Periods of standing, bending, and light lifting required.
JOB PURPOSE: To assist the Museum Shop staff on a weekend schedule in greeting and assisting customers with merchandise selection in the Shops and assisting Shop staff with completion of the sale. May include restocking and cleaning as needed.
