Responsibilities
- Work with senior brokers who are responsible for leading structured finance business
- Maintain a primary Focus on Apartment, Condominium, and Office projects – both new construction and existing assets
- Prepare financial models in Excel and Argus for clients which outline valuation and pricing structures
- Research, analyze, and evaluate feasibility of various real estate transactions
- Manage the preparation of detailed equity and financing request packages and capital sources
- Convey all particulars of a transaction (financial projections, market and location issues, tenant analysis, etc.) verbally and in formal written format to potential capital sources
- Generate weekly reports and updates to senior brokers on calling program status
- Develop and maintain working relationships with industry professionals
- Coordinate closing process to ensure that client and all parties are working together in an efficient manner to meet closing deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree; Business or Finance preferred
- Minimum of 1+ years of financial experience
- Knowledge of local commercial real estate markets preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Argus (or other discounted cash flow programs) essential
- Advanced internet research skills a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a timely and thorough manner
- Ability to support and prioritize workloads for several Associates and Brokers simultaneously
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Strong math and communication skills
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
