Responsibilities
- Provide assistance for client list project and CRM preparation
- Assist with writing and editing of news releases and market research reports
- Help write, create, and edit internal communications
- Assist with mailings, mail merges, and e-mail blasts
- Assist with organization and cleanup of network files and drives
- Assist with Web and Intranet updates—personnel bios and photos, research, documents
- Help with the creation of property flyers and brochures
- Assist with changes and updates to existing marketing pieces
- Provide administrative staff secondary and tech support
- Assist with planning and execution of both internal and external events
- Assist with implementation of community involvement initiatives
- Other projects as needed
Requirements
- Junior or Senior college student working towards a Business, Marketing, Advertising, or Communication-related degree
- Enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university
- Ability to work an average of 20-30 hours per week (flexible days/times)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in downtown Kansas City office and provide his/her own transportation
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
