Responsibilities
- Function as primary management interface with owner/client and building occupants
- Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for facility management business
- Provide overall facility management leadership through the development and interpretation of policies and programs, coordination of information flow and implementation of facility management strategy
- Oversee all aspects of recruiting, hiring, training, and daily supervision of all personnel on staff including multiple direct reports
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the efforts of the engineering staff through direct supervision of the Chief Engineer
- Provide direction and leadership to Facility Management staff, promoting reasonable career paths associated with management and maintenance professionals
- Prepare and submit operating and capital budgets with the clients’ goals and objectives addressed, track variances
- Ensure total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and effective problem resolution
- Support all moves, adds and space changes; coordinate and oversee project management and capital improvements
- Implement building maintenance and operational programs to ensure efficiency and reliability of systems while maintaining first-class operations. Manage vendor contracts
- Oversee coordination/implementation of life-safety, energy management, and site safety programs
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with company initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum of 6+ years of facility management or related experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience
- CPM, RPA, or CSM designation
- Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
- Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates
- Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
