Responsibilities
- Responsible for the content of all Department publications which include Quarterly Office / Industrial / Retail reports and Whitepapers. Develop new publications as needed for new and current clients
- Assemble information and data, draft and write all Market Overviews requested by all Departments
- Participate in all real estate industry events and programs and develop contacts with real estate professionals in other firms and disciplines
- Draft and update all market overviews for inclusions in pitches, RFPs, SFO, and other presentations for all company Departments
- Provide tools and resources to Brokerage and Property Management staff to elevate research platforms at the local level
- Handle all national research data requests and produce market information required for lease, sales, and finance transactions
- Provide occasional support to other company business lines such as Property Management
- Track, prepare and update:
- National and local leasing and sales statistics for land, industrial, retail, multi-family, and other property types
- National and local market forecasts
- Industry Surveys
- Research Website
- PowerPoint presentations on market trends
- Ensure research support in the preparation of presentation packages for prospective leasing and sales business, sales and leasing brochures, tenant surveys, financing packages, etc., as required by the firm’s professionals
- Participate in and or lead the effort in establishing working groups with members from local market research offices to achieve strategic objectives
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree; Masters in Business Administration, Economics, or Statistics preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
- Or any similar combination of education and experience above
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with external vendors, consultants, and agencies
- Must be highly analytical and detail oriented with strong math and communication skills
- Self-starter who can interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills as well as an ability to think creatively and strategically
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
