Our Membership Sales Associates sell FONZ memberships at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. Membership Sales Associates are customer service focused, enthusiastic, responsible, goal-oriented individuals who enjoy interacting with Zoo visitors.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sell FONZ Memberships
- Reach monthly goals
- Explain Membership benefits
- Answer Membership specific questions
- Provide members and Zoo visitors with general Zoo information
Qualifications:
- High School graduate with 2+ years of membership or related sales experience preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, approximately 3 days per week including weekends and some evenings
- Experience with a cash register and data entry experience are required
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills
- Must be courteous, friendly, and helpful
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
