Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Vice President of Corporate Communications, administer and manage the company’s corporate public relations program with a focus on building Cassidy Turley’s brand awareness, thought leadership and engagement with clients, industry influencers and recruits. In addition, contribute content for internal and external corporate communications

Research & Planning:

Build and refine media list (national, local, trade, and bloggers)

Build news release pipeline and distribution calendar

Compile editorial calendars for relevant national and trade publications

Support Brand Communications:

Build relationships for Cassidy Turley spokespeople with national, local, and trade media

Arrange and participate in journalists’ briefings with Cassidy Turley leadership to serve as news sources

Collaborate with Working Media Group (media planning) to pursue opportunities with national, local, and trade media

Blogger outreach and posting

Social Media-Driven Communications:

Assist with strategy to “amplify” Cassidy Turley corporate communications, press coverage, and research through social media landscape to support branding, recruitment, and sales efforts

Assist with content creation for Cassidy Turley’s blog, YouTube videos as well as other social channels

Assist with review of all content for social media channels to ensure correct messaging and focus

Public Website Content Management:

Provide Public Relations Guidance to Marketing Managers:

Assist with feedback on market press releases, ensuring proper messaging, boilerplate language, approvals, and formatting

Provide PR strategy guidance for local news releases when required

Support Professional Networking & Special Events Sourcing:

Identify appropriate forums/venues for Cassidy Turley executives to speak and support brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation objectives

Pitch speaking opportunities and manage scripting, logistics and invitation support in coordination with Corporate Events Manager

Pursue TV/Radio PSA opportunities and script PSAs

Assist with content creation for internal communications
Requirements
-
Bachelors Degree; Marketing, Public Relations or Communications major preferred
-
Minimum of 8+ years public relations experience, with commercial real estate industry experience strongly preferred
-
Demonstrated success in implementing PR strategies to increase brand awareness at the corporate and service line levels
-
Knowledge and familiarity of leading social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
-
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including business communications, media-related writing, and writing for web and social media platforms

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

General knowledge of Adobe creative suite and layout design basics

Proven ability to work in collaborative environment as a team member
