Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer and the Vice President of Corporate Communications, the Social Media Manager will refine and implement Cassidy Turley’s social media strategy to generate incoming traffic to Cassidy Turley’s social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedln, YouTube, and Google+), website and blog:
- Boost brand awareness, engagement and thought leadership. This will include monitoring, managing, and creating community engagement within Cassidy Turley’s social channels
- Linkedln:
- Monitor and identify areas for Cassidy Turley experts to enter in conversation
- Draft responses
- Create Linkedln polls
- Share Cassidy Turley news
- Facebook:
- Create and share weekly updates
- Monitor Facebook wall and respond to fans
- Twitter:
- Maintain corporate handle and work with Cassidy Turley’s Human Resources Department to maintain recruitment Twitter handle
- Share daily tweets from corporate handle
- Create new content and respond to tweets
- Monitor market Twitter handles and re-tweet appropriate content
- YouTube:
- Optimize metadata on videos and post to Cassidy Turley’s YouTube channel
- Organize site layout using existing strategy
- Google+:
- Implement existing strategy, based on Twitter strategy utilizing photos and graphs
- Blog:
- Coordination of deployment of blog posts from blog writers
- Maintain content schedule
- Optimize blog content by adding calls to action, relevant links, photos, and videos
- Provide guidance for creation of local market social channels
- Ensure graphic standards, naming conventions, relevant techniques, and existing strategy are implemented correctly
- Strategy & Reporting:
- Monitor new social tools and applications and make recommendations
- Create and maintain relationships with social media platform vendors
- Review and analyze social media reports
- Work with corporate marketing to adjust strategy as necessary to improve metrics
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree; Marketing, Public Relations or Communications major preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years experience managing social media in a corporate business-to-business environment
- Demonstrated experience and expertise using various social media outlets (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Experience editing web content
- Proficiency in digital and traditional marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of Adobe creative suite and layout design
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
