Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain statistical/regression models for the generation of macro-economic and commercial real estate forecasts
- Collect data, monitor economic trends, and develop forecasts on a wide variety of issues related to commercial real estate
- Gather, evaluate, and produce market data to support U.S. Research in analyzing market conditions
- Develop national and local market forecast models and provide written analysis
- Generate monthly market presentations to include macro-economic and real estate market data and provide analysis on key industry trends
- Generate quarterly market reports, including national forecast reports, as well as authoring white paper studies
- Develop new indices and metrics to further enhance U.S. Research’s ability to provide timely analysis and predict market direction
- Write weekly analysis on upcoming releases of macro-economic indicators
- Write quarterly reports on office, multifamily, industrial, and retail markets
- Work with practice groups internally and externally to assist in managing the U.S. Research consulting platform
Requirements
- Masters Degree or PhD in economics, business, mathematics, or statistics
- Experience with econometric modeling and time series analysis
- Experience presenting to various industry groups
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and statistical database packages
- Superior oral and written communication
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
