POSITION AVAILABLE: Engineering Technician
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma plus technical training in a recognized Stationary Engineer's curriculum, with certification strongly preferred. A minimum of two years’ experience required with electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; plumbing and refrigeration; and general building maintenance. Must be able to obtain a Universal Refrigeration License as issued by the EPA. Experience with building automation systems and pneumatic systems is preferred.
Job requires competent manual skills and the ability to handle numerous details with minimum supervision. Physical ability to do manual work, including lifting up to 45 pounds. Must be willing and able to work nights, holidays and weekends, as well as to be on-call for unscheduled repairs.
JOB PURPOSE: Maintain critical systems to include electrical, HVAC, plumbing and refrigeration through an ongoing preventive maintenance and repair program.
