Responsibilities

Initiate and review the space layout construction required for each project

Ability to communicate the layout to others for review and approval

Forward plans in a timely manner to the construction entity for pricing

Ability to coordinate all items to be re-used such as furniture, files, etc. from existing offices

Determine all locations for phones, computers, printers, and servers

Coordinate with contractors to ensure appropriate level of construction

Report any peculiarities of space that will not allow standard office layout

Review construction pricing, quantify, and clarify bids
-
Provide information to landlord, contractor, etc. in order for the process to move forward

Ability to communicate questions to an architect or city entity if any issues arise
-
Maintain familiarity with city permits: plan review, on-site inspections, codes, board of adjustment, special use, etc.

Keep all parties updated on all office standards such as paint, flooring, and furniture offerings

Provide information to others in the department regarding design, spatial requirements, code requirements, furniture, finishes, and construction
Requirements

Bachelors Degree; Design or a related field
-
Minimum of 2+ years of experience

Demonstrated experience utilizing the five phases of an interior/architectural project
-
Ability to review construction documents provided by an owner, architect, contractor or developer

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent strong verbal and written communication skills
